Before today I thought I was a frequent visitor at Starbucks, but now I’ll be there everyday. Why? Because I was hired as a Shift Supervisor and I start next week. I’m so excited. Great opportunity! Great benefits! Great coffee (a free pound every week)! Most of all, it’s an opportunity to meet and connect with people as we prepare to launch EPIC Church this Fall. What a God opportunity!!!
In addition, Vanessa started at Commerce Bank as a teller and we’re thankful for the employment opportunities. God has been faithful. There will be more updates to come in the near future so keep checking back for info about the progress of EPIC Church!

Hi Bobby!
Glad to hear the employment thing is taken care of – truly an answer to prayer. A lot of my team financed their mission here through Starbucks!!
Blessings,
Chilly
p.s. I’ll look you up for a “Doppio espresso con panna” the next time I’m in KC.

Hello Bobby!!
Its been a LONG time since you have heard my name, but its Courtney Kane Camp from CBC!
I was just led along a rabbit trail to find the CD “Songs for the Altar” that you shared with me back in school and I couldn’t find anything online. THEN, I decided to google your church to see if I could email you about it. THEN I saw your blog, and the redirected one that is at this web address. THEN I saw the random post about Starbucks and couldn’t help but post. I have been a store manager in NW DC for Starbucks for the past 3 years. Its a good company and it pays the bills for us while we’re involved with ministry.
After all that… is that CD available anywhere anymore?? I do have it in my iTunes library, however I would like a CD of it.
I’ll stop commenting now.
bye.
Courtney
